Description
Summary:Business process automation aims to enhance the speed, efficiency and quality of organizational processes. The main objective of this action research is to improve the data gathering procedures for the conduct of the Encryption Export Survey to make the survey process more effective and efficient. Our company is an American provider of human resources management (HR) software and services. The conduct of Encryption Export Survey is part of our company's compliance with the US Regulatory Agency. The survey respondents are employees who are working as product developers. In Cycle 1 of this action research, the issue of manual data collection process was addressed by automating the survey using a software development platform called Archer while, Cycle 2 intervention included the creation of the Encryption Export Survey User Manual and email announcement from the Chief Security Officer. I used Coghlan and Brannicks spirals of action research as the methodology and the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework as Conceptual Framework.
