Description
Summary:This action research focused on addressing the low engagement participation of APS partners and to drive employee engagement in the organization. Employee Engagement is critical and important in any organization. Today, to remain competitive globally, management should look into engaging its employees to attract suitable candidates, retain valuable employees, and boost and value their performance in accordance to the goals and objectives of the company. The researcher and collaborators were guided by the Proposed Integrated Model of Employee Engagement by Bedarkar & Pandita (2014) as their conceptual framework and Lewin’s Change Management model to arrive at the effective interventions that will address the current issue identified. This research contains two (2) cycles. The first cycle focused on addressing low engagement participation through establishing point of contacts (POC) or what we will call as APS Champions from different teams and different locations. Their main responsibility is to help us in cascading and promoting engagement communications. The second cycle, as a result of our evaluation from the 1st cycle, focused on strengthening internal communication in APS and as well as internal communication output of APS Connect hence resulting to the creation of an interactive platform and revamping of email communication.
