Relationship among reading gains, scholastic aptitude and academic achievement of CEU college freshmen students enrolled in developmental reading, first semester, 1971-1972
This study is an attempt to test the proposition that students originally classified as poor readers will have acquired reading skill gains they need to become successful in academic work and that the reading skills, once acquired by these students, will help them improve their academic achievement.
