This study seeks to develop a three-year faculty development plan/program for Saint Francis School in Guihulngan, Negros Oriental. The study used a descriptive survey method of research. It involved the description, recording, analysis and interpretation of the present status of the faculty members of Saint Francis School. A questionnaire entitled Faculty Development Needs Inventory was used to identify the needs of the faculty members of Saint Francis School in terms of personal and professional dimensions. Personal dimension includes psychological, social and spiritual while professional dimension includes academic and skills. The questionnaire was patterned after the questionnaire used by David (1977). On the basis of needs assessment, a faculty development plan was proposed. Thirteen faculty members were the respondents of the study. On the basis of the findings of the needs assessment, it was concluded that the first priority of the faculty members of Saint Francis was their economic needs. The school therefore, had to find means and ways to generate funds to meet such needs. Along with the economic needs, professional and academic development was also of major concern, hence they were perceived as much needed. They felt, as the survey showed, that they had to grow professionally and academically to face the future challenges of the teaching profession. 1985-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/73 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Teachers--Education (Continuing education) Teachers--In-service training Education--Finance Saint Francis School (Negros Oriental Philippines) Teacher Education and Professional Development
