The first part of this study aims to determine the extent of participation of the faculty of Mount Carmel High School Maria Aurora in the Prelature Pastoral Formation Program. The research is a descriptive study wherein two aspects of faculty participation were surveyed including the reasons for their non-participation. The administrators' satisfaction regarding faculty participation was also measured. The respondents were sixteen teachers and two administrators. The questionnaire used was constructed by the researcher patterned after the questionnaires used in similar studies done by Canivel (1976) and Palencia (1984). The percentages, mean and t-test for significant difference were used in the statistical analysis of data. Based on the findings of the study, it was found that, in general, the teachers' desired participation was higher than their actual participation in the program. Among the three areas of teachers' participation in the Prelature Pastoral Formation Program, data showed that the teachers have the highest involvement in the area of activities. The teachers were not much involved in planning, implementation and evaluation of the activities. The reasons for teachers' non-participation in the program was greatly influenced by outside factors like situation or resource obstacles. In general, the administrators expressed a moderately satisfied level with regard to the actual participation of the teachers in the program. The second part of the study aims to determine the general characteristics of Mount Carmel High School teachers of Maria Aurora and its relation to the extent of their actual participation in the Prelature Pastoral Formation Program. The study used the descriptive method of research and utilized the 16 Personality Factors questionnaire prepared by Cattell and Eber (1957) to determine each individual's personality dimensions. All the sixteen (16) teachers of Mount Carmel School Maria Aurora were respondents of the study. The findings of the study revealed that the teachers pers 1985-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/84 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Personal prelatures High school teachers--Psychology Teacher Education and Professional Development
