Summary:It was the purpose of this study to identify, rank and show the relationships between parents' socio-economic status and expectation/satisfaction in selecting a school for their children. The descriptive survey method was used to gather the data from the two-hundred and fifty (250) respondents who are parents of the high school students from the first year to fourth year of the Christ the King College in Gingoog City, in Misamis Oriental. For the statistical treatment of the data, the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and t-test was chosen and used. Specifically, the following questions were answered in this study: 1) What are the rankings of each of the factors associated with parents' expectation which influenced their choice of a school for their children? 2) What are the rankings of each of the factors that give satisfaction to their parents in their choice of a school? 3) Is there significant relationship between parents' socio-economic status and their expectation in their choice of Christ the King College as a school for their children? 4) Is there significant relationship between parents' socio-economic status and satisfaction of their choice of Christ the King College as a school for their children?
