Skeels (duhat), Citrus mitis blco. (kalamansi) and Tamarindus indica L. (sampaloc) were tested for the presence of antimicrobial activities. The solvent used for extraction were acetone, ethanol (95 percent), ethyl acetate, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride and distilled water. The different extracts were tested against six species of microorganisms, namely: Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Shiqella dysenteriae, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes and Candida albicans.All the bark samples showed antimicrobial activities, while eight out of ten seed samples showed antimicrobial activities.
