The structure of Isolate N-6 was elucidated by High Field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) analyses such as 1H, 19C, Distortionless Enhancement by Popularization Transfer (DEPT), 1H-1H Correlation Spectroscopy (COSY) and Mass Spectroscopy (MS).Andrographis paniculata, Nees (Common name: Serpentina) which belongs to the family Acanthaceae, was studied for its terpenoid chemistry. One novel diterpene lactone - alcohol derivative of Isolate Z-7 and one known diterpene - diacetylandrographolide, were isolated from Andrographis paniculata, Nees by Vacuum Liquid Chromatography (VLC) and Gravity Column Chromatography (GCC).
