Summary: | The readiness of the school and teachers has become a significant element in the implementation of successful inclusive education. However, this readiness is being affected by many challenges. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, modular inclusive distance learning was one of the learning modalities implemented throughout the Philippines. This research aims to know the teachers’ perception regarding their schools, their readiness, and the challenges they encountered during the implementation of the modular approach to continuing education. Given the information provided by the teachers, this study recommends how to strategically implement an effective modular inclusive education. Data for this study came from a survey of sixty-three teachers. In addition, ten teachers were also interviewed. Results reveal that teachers have a positive view about inclusion and strongly agreed that school leadership, school climate, curriculum, instruction, assessment, and individual support were evident during the implementation of the modular inclusive education. More so, findings adequately show teachers' attitude, knowledge, and skills. The study, meanwhile, exposes the challenges that teachers encountered including inadequate knowledge and skills of receiving teachers, lack of school materials, learners’ behavior in class, lack of parental support, and availability of home learning space facilities.
