Kerr nanobead dynamics near the focus of a single beam optical trap
We characterized the dynamics of a Kerr nanobead near the focus of a single beam optical trap. Kerr nonlinearity played a significant role in the dynamics of the nanobead by reducing the confinement volume by as much as 50% in the optical trapping region. ©2007 Optical Society of America.
