Summary: | This practicum study aims to eliminate the 10.31% production loss in the
production of flour based cracker line 1 especially in the production of Magic
Creams of Universal Robina Corporation- Cavite Plant. The entire manufacturing
process has been observed from staging / preparation of raw materials to
packaging area. This study should be able to eliminate all aspect that contribute to
the production loss. Eliminate idle time of machine cause in insufficient cleaning of
stencil in order to maximize the productivity of machine, implementing sanction by
workers in order to minimize idle time in the operation, and eliminating
backtracking cause in worn pallets in order to have a smooth flow of production.
The researcher conducted interviews, observed the processes, gathered data and
applied experimental methods for the completion of this research. |
