Effects of similarity and implicit leadership theory on trust in leader-subordinate relationships

This study investigates the effects of personality similarity and implicit leadership theory on leader-subordinate trust, which are expected to influence affect- and cognition-based trust differently. The Big Five personality factors were used to determine personality similarity in this study.
