Description
Summary:This study focused on two factors of transfer of learning. We studied the relationship between motivation to transfer and transfer climate on strategy implementation. Also, the study assesses the relationship between leadership effectiveness and strategy implementation. A sample of 32 managers/trainees, controlled for gender, age, qualification, industry and firm size, were surveyed. The results showed that while transfer climate leads to strategic implementation, motivation to transfer was negatively related with strategic implementation. It was also found that leadership effectiveness is positively related to strategy implementation. As such, the need arises for organizations to manage transfer of learning and leadership development more effectively.
