This work could be extended to fabricate polyelectrolyte nanotube arrays with different polyelectrolyte combinations, including weak polyelectrolyte/weak polyelectrolyte, weak polyelectrolyte/strong polyelectrolyte and strong polyelectrolyte/strong polyelectrolyte.
