Summary: | This project aims to explore whether the "succession" of the manufacturing sector by the service sector will lead to the "hollowing out of manufacturing" in the case of Singapore. The Singapore government's role in restoring manufacturers' competitiveness is examined using the Business Cost Competitiveness Index (BCCI).
