Os3(CO)11(BiPh3) : the missing link in osmium-bismuth cluster chemistry

The room temperature reaction of Os3(CO)11(NCCH3) with BiPh3 afforded the substituted derivative Os3(CO)11(BiPh3) which decomposed rapidly. The X-ray crystallographic study is reported, together with that of the stibine and arsine analogues.
