Analysis of IMF aid packages during the Asian financial crisis.
This report seeks to investigate the present role of the IMF, using the Asian Financial Crisis as a case study. Much criticism have been leveled at the IMF for overstepping the boundaries of its authority and original mission, that is, stabilising exchange rates and improving international trade.
