Description
Summary:Multi-Agent Simulations of Integration and Segregation Dynamics in Social System used Fuzzy Inference System to reproduce the original Schelling model by better approximates the agents’ influences on the integration and segregation dynamics in social system. Although Fuzzy Inference System has been widely used for many applications, but the designation of the model rules can be different and unique in a sense that it is application specific. In this project, a new design of model rules has been proposed for the Fuzzy Inference System to simulate the integration and segregation dynamics in social system based on two agents. The significance of proposing the new design of the model rules is that, it can exploit complex inputs by means of summarization and compression, and the simulations results can be achieved easily through computational intelligence without the need to derive and employ complex mathematics to address increasing complexity in the integration and segregation dynamics in a social system. This project has revealed interesting insights into the complexity of the integration and segregation dynamics in the social system.
