Description
Summary:Students in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University are required to take a Final Year Project (FYP) in their final year of studies for two semesters. An assessment will be conducted at the end of their FYP by the respective FYP examiners which will be allocated by the FYP Examiner Allocation System (FEAS). The FEAS was first developed in the year 2007 to ease the work for the FYP coordinator of allocating the examiners, timeslot and examination room manually for every semester. The old FEAS was left unmaintained and gradually incompatible with the advancement of technology. It was replaced by the current FEAS which was developed in 2016. However, there are still improvements needed for the current FEAS. Therefore, FYP Examiner Allocation System Improvement Part 1 is to improve the current algorithm and features to improve the user experience. The FEAS helped the FYP coordinator greatly in terms of the amount of time and effort needed for allocating of the FYP examiners, timeslot, and examination room every semester.
