Last year, MSF extended post care for youths in youth homes to one year. According to MSF, the current aftercare system over the course of two-months is inadequate to help these youth transition into society. In light of three riots over the last three years, the move to a new building, and the new aftercare plans, this feature writing package offers a look into the lives of former residents of Singapore Boys’ Home and the struggles they face on their journey to reintegration.
