Dementia patients are faced with increasing difficulties in coping with everyday activities. People with dementia need care according to their severity and family members or guardians might not have the necessary skills or knowledge for this demanding role. Professionals and caregivers in dementia care centre can help to monitor the patients, provide assistance with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and conduct basic activities and exercises with them. The Person-centred CARe (PEAR) application developed supports professionals and caregivers in providing better services to the dementia patients. The objectives of this project are to improve the user experience and interface, extend the functionalities and enhance the performance of the PEAR application to better assist the professionals and caregivers. User experience and interfaces were also reevaluated and improved. New functionalities were added to ensure data integrity and accountability of actions. Additionally, a new page – Daily Highlight page was implemented to allow user have access to highlighted issues of patients.
