Recently with the development of information communication technology (ICT), near real time communication and signal processing has achieve lots of improvement. All this improvement can have significant impact on the intelligence microgrid system performance. In this report I will study Sphere Decoder algorithm, OPC UA communication protocol and TCP communication protocol. Study and simulation will be carried out to find some of the critical information require for real application use in a control system environment, this will include the signal processing speed and latency of the communication system.
