一首 "长恨" "长" 又 "恨" ：《长恨歌》作为 "新乐府" 的解读 = The eternalised hatred of ‘The Song of Everlasting Hatred’ : from the perspective of the ‘YueFu’ movement

Although the language used was purposed to be easily understood and entertaining, the last four sentences still puzzled many till this day. To understand the “everlasting” and “hatred” of this song, we should first decipher the “hatred” using the concept of “flowing phrase”. Today, many literary professionals have had countless methods to do so. Bai Ju Yi had always believed that poetry served the purposed of bettering the society. Thus, this thesis aims to analyse and justify if the last four sentences were a “flowing phrase”, all on the basis of Bai Ju Yi’s political “Yue Fu” movement. |
