Description
Summary:This report presents the project on first person view (FPV) remote driving system implemented on robotic vehicles. This project aims to improve the features from similar final year project carried out in the previous years. Originally, the project was planned to be implemented only on a JetBot with Raspberry Pi, a 3D stereoscopic camera, servo motors, with an Android phone and Logitech G29 steering wheel and pedals as inputs. As the project progressed, the system was also implemented on an XTARK AKMX2 robot with Robot Operating System (ROS). This project features wireless communication, video live streaming, 3D stereoscopic vision, remote driving, head movement tracking and object detection using LiDAR sensor.
