Description
Summary:Consumer preferences relating to quality and performance of operating systems change with time. In view of the current and future market trends, we seek to investigate the key features of Microsoft Windows and its implications on consumer behaviour. This research empirically examines current perceptions towards Windows XP, Vista, and Windows Mobile and sustainability of Windows. Our survey findings suggest that usage experience is the most important factor that determines users’ satisfaction of an operating system. In this regard, we feel that Windows will lose its market dominance in the next ten years.
