This research empirically examines current perceptions towards Windows XP, Vista, and Windows Mobile and sustainability of Windows. Our survey findings suggest that usage experience is the most important factor that determines users’ satisfaction of an operating system. In this regard, we feel that Windows will lose its market dominance in the next ten years.
