Description
Summary:The objective of this study is to find out the difference between online and printed newspaper design, the style of delivery, whether the readers see the differences between the two and what the satisfaction level is while reading printed newspaper compared to the same online version. This study will concentrate on local newspapers because there is very little study done on comparing the differences between online and printed newspapers in Singapore’s context. Three local newspapers were chosen for this study: The Newpaper, The Straits Times and Lian He Zao Bao. The Newpaper is a local news tabloid also called The Electric New Paper online. These three newspapers were chosen because each of them had their presence in the Web, and there were no Indian and Malay interviewees available for the interview.
