This study will concentrate on local newspapers because there is very little study done on comparing the differences between online and printed newspapers in Singapore’s context. Three local newspapers were chosen for this study: The Newpaper, The Straits Times and Lian He Zao Bao. The Newpaper is a local news tabloid also called The Electric New Paper online. These three newspapers were chosen because each of them had their presence in the Web, and there were no Indian and Malay interviewees available for the interview.
