Description
Summary:The recent COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted conventional work routines and accelerated a shift towards remote work, which has resulted in a need for organisations to adopt new forms of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). As this technology shapes existing work routines, it poses new challenges for individuals working from home, in the form of technostress. This paper explores how technostressors from remote work shapes mental health outcomes. This paper also investigates how certain psychosocial resources interact with the relationship between technostressors and mental health outcomes, which would be instrumental in framing workplace and state policies to combat the deleterious implications of technostressors.
