南来作家在华文文学史上具有重要地位。字面上，南来作家指的是一群南来香港的作家，范围却是极其广泛。20世纪80年代，香港对于“南来作家”一词出现了讨论，对“南来作家”、“移民作家”等词诠释各有所见，对其中的界定大不相同。 然而，在这些讨论的背后，关注这些作家如何通过北上、南来的迁移的经历来反思自己的身份，从中界定“南来作家”的身份的研究仅有零碎探讨。 对此，本文试图以作家陶然（1943-2019）作为研究对象，通过他所创作的故事新编作品以及文论，厘清南来作家的身份与其建构和标签。陶然拥有着不可磨灭的北上和南来的跨国属性。他从印尼北上中国，再南下香港，并活跃于香港的生活与创作。他90年代创作故事新编以来，笔下细腻捕捉当下香港社会的生活困境、艰难、挣扎和心理畸变，通过透视香港的社会百态，渗入自己南来的特殊经历和反思，这也是陶然对于自己“南来”身份建构上的反思。 本文主要从陶然的经历、创作的故事新编作品，离散、文化认同等相关理论交织，丰富南来作家和文学的理解。 关键词：陶然、南来作家、移民、难民、离散、南来文学 Southbound writers held an important place in the research of Chinese literature. The literal meaning of Southbound writer signifies writers that have traveled to Hong Kong. However, the extent of its meaning is way more extensive. During the 80s, scholars have different views on the definition of southbound writers and immigrant writers. Yet the research on southbound writers and their literature is relatively lacking, especially regarding their immigration experiences and the reflection of it in their works. This thesis attempts to analyze the definition of southbound writers as well as their cultural identity by analyzing Taoran‘s (1943-2019) immigration experiences and his works. Taoran was in Hong Kong when he wrote his works. He started writing new stories in the 90s and captured the different aspects of lives in Hong Kong, including their struggles. He incorporated his immigration experiences into his work, projecting the deliberation of his own cultural identity. Therefore, this thesis aims to analyze and deepen the understanding of southbound writers and their cultural identity through Taoran’s Immigration experiences and his new stories works.
