Description
Summary:There have been numerous research areas regarding P2P energy trading. The integration of blockchain energy trading system has garnered much attention in recent years. Through the use of blockchain based energy trading smart contract, transactions between EVs and the power grid are made possible, without an intermediary. A secure solution for electric vehicle owners, also known as prosumers, that may act as both sellers and buyers are able to transact with greater ease. MATLAB and Remix IDE were used in this project to run simulations on how the platform would work and perform. A multi-level pricing mechanism was used to optimize the prices for prosumers to take part in the energy trading. We study the use of blockchain integration with smart contract to implement an energy trading system between electric vehicles in parking lots and the power grid, while optimizing the prices.
