The campaign was conceptualized and executed to encourage the celebration of IWD 2009 amongst the masses in Singapore as well as to bring women together to celebrate their achievements. Indirectly, it is hoped that through the celebration of women’s contributions and achievements, we can highlight further effort that needs to be done for other less-privileged women in Singapore, as well as to provide inspiration for young women. The report will describe the efforts made in formative research for the planning of this project, the objectives, targeted audiences, communication methods, and campaign programming. Details of each event and the timeline of the 6-month long campaign are also included. In the evaluation part, a post-event survey was conducted to garner feedback. A post-campaign survey was also formulated to measure the effectiveness of the campaign in achieving its objectives. The media coverage and interest was also tabulated. Lastly, recommendations were made for SCWO for future IWD events.
