The in situ generated byproduct SO2 was reutilized to activate C-OH bond, which enabled this dehydroxylative trifluoromethylation to be performed conveniently. A variety of multifunctionalized CF3-allylic compounds were obtained in high yields and excellent stereoselectivity.
