Description
Summary:This project report presents the development of a web application platform, "Carelink," which aims at bridging the gap between donating sponsors and beneficiaries in need. The purpose of this project is to minimize operational costs for charity organizations and enable direct communication between sponsors and beneficiaries and fostering a better understanding of the needs of the beneficiaries. The web application platform was developed using ASP.NET C#, with the front-end built using HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS. Data storage was managed using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 18. The project follows a typical life cycle which includes planning, requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The application is divided into smaller modules based on user types: beneficiaries, sponsors, volunteers, and admin. Extensive testing was conducted to ensure functionality, performance, and compatibility across various devices and browsers. The "CareLink" web application successfully achieves its objective, providing a user-friendly platform for direct communication between sponsors and beneficiaries. Future enhancements could include a chat feature within the application for transparent communication and closer monitoring of interactions to ensure the platform's positive impact on society.
