Through multiple regression analysis (n=114), a negative relationship was found between in-group and out-group evaluations when high-identifiers were communicating to an out-group audience and when low-identifiers were communicating to an in-group audience. A positive relationship was found for high-identifiers who were communicating to an in-group and low-identifiers who were communicating to an out-group audience.
