Description
Summary:Through the era of frontier science in the 20th to 21st century, probing particle physics has continually served as a reliable avenue for discoveries. The Standard Model is a successful theory in describing nature at the fundamental level. This theoretical thesis aims to review several mechanisms (in the Electroweak sector) and limitations of the Standard Model. Discussion on Flavour-Changing Neutral Currents in the Standard Model will act as a guide in this report to constrain plausible extensions to the Standard Model.
