However, there is a shortage of robots to provide medications at the stipulated time to patients in personal homes. Motivated by the fact that this factor is not yet met by the market, the author has proposed a Personal Service Robot which can meet this demand along with other factors such as taking relevant health checks. The report documents the process of designing the proposed medical robot, RATCHET. The report concludes the design of RATCHET and the possible future works for further improvement.
