Description
Summary:Lifelong learning is the continuous and self-driven pursuit of knowledge for both personal and professional reasons to enhance an individual's development, and increases competitiveness and employability. According to research, having a higher number of friends increases academic achievement and motivates a student to learn. Therefore, in order to equip the Master of Science (MSc) students with lifelong learning skills, the school of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has provided a relatively new physical learning space, Lifelong Learning @ EEE (LLL@EEE). This learning space aims to provide an environment to hold workshops and events catered for the to learn in-demand skills. This space also aims to allow students to find like-minded people to learn together. Hence, the aim of this project is to create an online web application to manage the facilities to support lifelong learning in the LLL@EEE space. Through the platform, MSc students would be able to book discussion rooms and register for workshops or events. Students would also be able to join various online community rooms to find peers of similar interest.
