Description
Summary:Recent studies have shown that preschoolers can process multi-digits and understand the principle of position prior to entering first grade (e.g., Cheung & Ansari, 2021; Mix et al., 2022; Yuan et al., 2019). These results suggest that children have the capacity to learn multi-digit numbers. In this study, we investigate the extent of children's ability to process multi-digits and how such ability relates to their understanding of number words.
