Investigating the functions of alternatively spliced Kindlin-2
Kindlins are cytoplasmic proteins that function as an important co-activator for integrin activation. They are important for cell adhesion and migration. In human, there are three paralogs of Kindlins, namely Kindlin-1, Kindlin-2 and Kindlin-3. In particular to Kindlin2, the canonical Kindlin-2 (K2S...

To date, the tissue distributions and functions of these spliced isoforms are not yet elucidated. In this thesis, we focus on unveiling the functions and potential interacting partners of K2L spliced isoform.
