| Summary: | This project RG129/06 is in support of the AStar/I2R joint project to work in the area of Digital Signal Processing for Voice Enhancement Recognition & Search. A funding(project duration: I year, Feb 2007-March 2008) was awarded to PI: Chng Eng Siong of SCE. The project's fund was used to purchase supplementary equipments, namely 2 servers each with 4.5 Tera-Bytes of storage and 10 portable hard-disks. The required equipments proposed were fully purchased with the awarded fund. The purchase of the equipments went towards supporting 4 fulltime and 2 part time PhD students 1 part time MSc student's research activities. Inthis 1 year (Feb 2007-March 2008), the group produced: 1 journal publication, 6 conference publications, and 3 conference paper submission. In addition, the PI acquired 3 additional new external funding to speech related research in 2007-2008. |
