The project's fund was used to purchase supplementary equipments, namely 2 servers each with 4.5 Tera-Bytes of storage and 10 portable hard-disks. The required equipments proposed were fully purchased with the awarded fund. The purchase of the equipments went towards supporting 4 fulltime and 2 part time PhD students 1 part time MSc student's research activities. Inthis 1 year (Feb 2007-March 2008), the group produced: 1 journal publication, 6 conference publications, and 3 conference paper submission. In addition, the PI acquired 3 additional new external funding to speech related research in 2007-2008.
