By leveraging contemporary technology, this project aims to address these limitations and change the way scores are managed and presented. The goal of the project is to digitalize the process of tabulating, tracking, and displaying of the scores from manual excel sheet like format to an online score boarding front-end application. The report begins with an analysis of existing scorekeeping practices, identifying pain points and areas for improvement used by the user. Through the development of a digital scoreboard application, powered by user-friendly interfaces and robust backend functionalities, this project strives to streamline the tabulation and tracking process. This includes features such as real-time score updates, automatic calculation of statistics, and a customized display to accommodate different games. The implementation phase involves the design and development of the digital scoreboard application, leveraging modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Throughout the project, considerations are given to scalability, extensibility, and maintenance requirements to ensure the long-term viability and adaptability of the digital scoreboard solution. Additionally, user feedback and stakeholder input are solicited and incorporated into the iterative development process, ensuring alignment with user expectations and requirements. There are future works and features planned for the project as well to further enhance and improve the score boarding application.
