Video surveillance robot is a patrol robot system for site security with some considerations on its interactive functionalities. The robot system can patrol along the designed trajectory in candidate site to perform intrusion detection and make response to the abnormal events, where a wireless sensor network may be deployed. The purpose of this project is to experimentally design a patrol robot system by different approaches. Also a control station is constructed to facilitate the interactions with the remote robot system, where all of the sensor measurements and the dedicated interactions can be monitored and modified via the wireless Bluetooth network.
