Description
Summary:The selection of one’s University degree is an important decision in a student’s educational trajectory, yet many students struggle with making a well-informed decision. The mismatch of expectations regarding university degrees amongst prospective undergraduate students result in additional time and resources spent on obtaining a degree. The lack of resources to bridge student’s knowledge gap regarding the actual course content of university degrees suggests the need for an innovative solution to engage students. Hence, the objective of this project is to adopt a game based learning model to expose prospective university students to the course content of our chosen undergraduate degree- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). The team aims to develop an interactive desktop game using the Unity game engine to introduce the basics of digital electronics. The game not only serves as a guiding tool for students interested in an engineering degree but can also potentially intrigue and encourage students to delve into the engineering sector.
