The ESP32 is a low-cost and low-power chipset microcontroller with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. This microcontroller enables students to develop Internet of Things (IoT) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects to enhance the learning progress for newcomers in building their first project. Additionally, it employs a USB (Universal Serial Bus) type A to type micro-B connector for uploading code onto the board or serving as a power source for the ESP32 board. Furthermore, the ESP32 can be programmed in simplified C++ using the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software. The primary objective of this project will focus on developing assistive mobility aids for the visually impaired by leveraging intelligent sensors, IoT, and AI technologies to enhance their mobility and safety. Additionally, the primary functionality of this project helped alert individuals to oncoming obstacles and wirelessly alerted incidents of falling to the next of kin.
