Description
Summary:COVID-19 changed the behavioural habits of many households by encouraging home cooking considering safety regulations. As a result, a new style of cooking emerged that embraced health consciousness and the adoption of healthier lifestyles. At the same time, managing the wasting of food was a challenge since ingredients often got unused or expired, adding to the global food wasting especially to the households. This problem is tackled by a mobile application, the Food Cooking Recipe App, which will enable users to prepare healthy meals with the ingredients that they have thereby decreasing food wastage and leading to low grocery bills. The development of a Food Cooking Recipe app that relies on cutting-edge mobile technology and user-based design principles is aimed at engaging cooking, healthier eating, and creative in kitchen. The app provides users with all the recipes they need, from healthy to dietary to the extremely favorite, all-in line with individual choices and needs. Likewise, one can look for recipes by meal types, cuisines, or ingredients, which is another factor that makes cooking more interesting as well as contributes to reducing food waste.
