Description
Summary:To address the issues of energy scarcity and pollution caused by fossil fuels, the development of new energy technologies has garnered widespread attention. This project examines the application of PV-storage DC microgrids in dispersed renewable energy development, emphasizing the role of energy storage systems in conjunction with PV power generation. The report reviews the evolution of DC microgrids, key technologies like converters control methods and MPPT methods. Then, the control theory behind the battery-side Boost converter is discussed, along with the modeling and verification of the output characteristics in PV modules. The report also introduces the MPPT technology used for PV power generation optimization. An independent PV-storage DC microgrid was constructed using PLECS modeling to validate the system’s control approach and assess its dynamic responsiveness to variations in load demand and insolation. Finally, the report summarizes the main findings and suggests future research directions to further enhance the efficiency and resilience of DC microgrids.
