Radio map estimation with sparse wireless fingerprints for urban localisation

However, many APs are detected in each scan during the localisation process. Having so many APs to process results in a higher consumption of power which drains the battery life of the device. A solution which addresses this issue is to filter out some APs and process the remaining ones. However, lesser APs also implies less accurate locating. Therefore, this project aims to determine the optimum number of APs which can be used for processing and at the same time, provide acceptable locating accuracy.
