Laser velocimeter for in vivo flow measurements
A new dual-fibre optic catheter for in vivo blood flow measurements has been developed. The catheter is designed to measure blood flow in both the forward (towards the catheter tip) and reverse (away from the catheter tip) flow directions at flow rates ranging from stationary (0 cm/s) to 150 cm/s.
